Kamali’i FFA is a treatment agency whose mission is to provide foster youth and young adults with quality trained foster families while providing individualized treatment services. Goals of reunification and permanency are supported while empowering youth to be positive participants in their community.
Kamali’i Foster Family Agency has been awarded as recipients of a financial grant made possible in part from The Community Foundation, Strengthening Inland Southern California through Philanthropy. The funds will be used to provide updated substance abuse awareness program materials and resources. Kamali’i FFA will continue its awareness program of substance abuse as a social problem, deal constructively with substance abuse in the foster care setting, deter further experimentation with drugs and alcohol, improve communication between foster youth and their resource parents and impress upon foster youth that substance use and abuse are serious offenses. In addition to youth services, Kamali’i FFA will use the funding to keep its Resource Parents and Agency Social Workers informed on substance abuse trends in foster youth, signs and symptoms of substance use and drugs of choice among youth.

The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio have reached out to offer 8 of our young ladies an opportunity to attend their choice of summer camps offered at either Azalea Trails in Idyllwild or Skyland Ranch in Beaumont. In addition to sponsoring these 8 young ladies they have also offered to provide any foster youth within the agency the opportunity to become a Girl Scout through sponsorship for a year. We had the privilege of meeting with Mindy and Douglas who are representatives from the Girls Scouts who wanted to know how they can provide our young youth with this outstanding opportunity. If you are interested in registering your child ages TK – 12th grade please talk to your Agency Social Worker who has all of the registration information available for you. If you are interested in finding out information on becoming a troop leader please inquire as their are supports available to assist you in the process. We are looking forward to working alongside our local Girl Scouts and providing this exciting opportunity to our youth.
Kamali’i Foster Family Agency would like to recognize the Garcia family for providing Andrea Montserrat Garcia a forever home. The Garcia family accepted Andrea into their family in August of 2015 at just under a month of age. Mr. and Mrs. Garcia have committed themselves to parent Allie with love, dedication, and permanency. We have seen Andrea grow from an infant to a very active and happy young child. Congratulations!
What a perfect way to start the Father’s Day weekend for the Avery family. The Avery’s welcomed Monserrat Joy Avery and her younger brother Charlie Matthew Avery into their family on this exciting day. Monserrat, Charlie and the Avery’s are a very active family within the Agency and we are so privileged to have been a part of this family in the making, Congratulations!
