With St. Patrick’s Day coming up fast, we wanted to make sure you’ll have some green in your life before you get pinched. We’ve compiled all of our favorite recipes in one place (links included) so you and your family can celebrate March’s only holiday however you see fit!
You can’t go wrong with this St. Patty’s Day dinner classic! Corned Beef and Cabbage is a delicious and easy dinner meal, especially when made in the Crock-Pot or Instant Pot. “No more dry corned beef! Cook this in your slow cooker all day and you’re guaranteed success!” Enjoy your festive dinner!
2. Mint Chocolate Pudding Cookies
Mint chocolate lovers, gather around! This one’s for you. These cookies are so soft and gooey (that’s the pudding mix) and they’re a fun color! Even mint-haters can just leave out the peppermint extract for delicious, fluffy, and green chocolate chip cookies!
This recipe is not only super easy, but it’s kid-friendly and fun to make! All you need is green candy melts (or white chocolate and food coloring) and pretzels. These shamrocks are sure to be a hit among the family; young and old alike!
4. Green Mac & Cheese (Dye Free)
Maybe you aren’t really into the whole food coloring thing, or you just don’t want your kid’s teeth to be stained green. Whatever the case, we totally understand! This delicious mac and cheese recipe is not only GREEN, but it is dye-free. It’s also super delicious, and it’s actually healthy! (More so than the cookies).
Magically delicious and a fan favorite among those with a sweet tooth, these Lucky Charms Cupcakes will be a hit. You can even have the kids decorate their own cupcakes, which could get a little messy but will let them have some (safe) baking fun too. Add some green frosting or green food coloring to the cake mix for an extra festive touch.
Have so much fun this St. Patrick’s Day! We hope that these recipes warm your heart and your bellies. Be sure to include your kids in some of the fun creating these green and delicious recipes, and as always, stay safe!
